Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to have hardware installed in my office?
No - Tactic is designed to have frictionless onboarding with no installation necessary. Simply create your account and all you’ll need is your computer or phone to start reserving office space!
- Our team has several people that rarely, if ever, go into the office. Would they count towards our employee total when selecting a plan?
We believe you should only pay for what you use - fair and square! If you have team members who haven’t used Tactic for a period of time, we won’t include them in your team limit.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Apple Pay & all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB.
If you need to be invoiced, please reach out to our sales team.
- Where can I get a receipt?
By default, receipts will be sent directly to the email of the person who set up your account. This can be changed at any time in administrator’s account settings.
- I’m growing! What happens if we hire more employees than our current plan allows?
Congratulations! We love seeing our clients grow. We measure company size by employee headcount and number of offices at the beginning of the month. When growth impacts Tactic plans, there are two options:
- If you’re paying month-to-month, we’ll notify you that your account will be upgraded at the start of the following month.
- If you’ve already paid for the year, we’ll make a one-time, prorated charge to your credit card to cover your new plan for the remainder of the subscription period.
- I see that you charge per location. How do you define location?
Generally, a “location” is considered a physical office location. For example, if you have an office in Los Angeles and New York, you’d set up two separate office locations. In certain instances, you may want to set up separate “offices” in the same building or set up a separate office for each builing on a campus.
